# Installation Guides

Haven't got Chat4Data up and running yet? No worries — it's a breeze and only takes a minute. Follow this quick guide to get Chat4Data set up from scratch.

## Step 1: Install the Browser Extension

### Supported Browsers

Our extension is displayed via a **side panel** and is compatible with:

| -------------------- | --------- |
| Google Chrome        | ✅         |
| Microsoft Edge       | ✅         |
| Brave                | ✅         |
| Chromium             | ✅         |
| Google Chrome Canary | ✅         |

The following browsers are **not currently supported** as they do not support side panels:

* Arc Browser by The Browser Company
* Opera
* Vivaldi
* Safari

## Step 2: Create Your Chat4Data Account

Once the extension is installed, click the **"Log in"** button to create your Chat4Data account — it's free. You can sign up with your email or log in with your Google account.

After logging in, test the scraping process on your target website or our demo playground. New users receive free credits to get started right away.
